It has been awhile... My life has completely flipped upside down in the past month. We no longer live in the camper, no more tiny living. We are now living with my mother in law. It is more room and space for us but it is also really hard because now we have to take care of her full time.
In other news, I have been so busy with personal stuff I haven’t even been crafting or drawing at all and it has been making me sick. I was really enjoying working on my art earlier this year and I was finally getting into a groove. I even started to learn how to crochet. Now I have to reset myself and get back into the swing of things.
The other night I was also able to make some new t-shirts for the shop. I made them especially for Pensapride, on June 15th but now I am thinking I may post them on here early. I am so excited for the event but I am also worried I won’t be able to attend due to family concerns. I am still going to work hard on getting items ready though since I have so many ideas! Of course everything has a tropical theme, haha.
One of the only good things about the move out of the camper is that I now have my own workspace for all my crafts. It is messy but is looking so much better than where it started. I was just throwing stuff in here from the camper and our storage unit so it was a complete disaster of boxes and totes. I have really been busting my butt to get rid of all the stuff and get organized. The other day I finally hung up some decorations. It is so nice to have a bigger, more suitable space to be working on my crafts. It was so cramped in the camper, especially when I had to press t-shirts or anything.
Overall, things have been really hectic but I am finally settling into this new life. I just really hope my mother in law gets better soon.
